I’ve seen people doubting the allegiance between PFLP and Hamas, due to their ideologically quite different approaches. This has been answered well by others. The following PFLP statement regarding the EU’s sanctioning of Hamas should make clear how linked these two orgs are:

Asaib Ahl Al-Haq was founded in 2006 by Qais Al-Khazali (still their leader today) to fight the US occupation of Iraq. Al-Khazali originally had worked with the Mahdi Army, (one of the largest forces resisting the occupation), split from them in ‘04 only to reconcile in ‘05. The split happened due to Al-Khazali refusing to cooperate with the Mahdi Army’s leader Muqtada Al-Sadr’s call to lay down arms. Lately I’ve been thinking about the words anti-semitism as opposed to Islamophobia. I’ve felt for awhile that the word Islamophobia is itself a sort of Western trick. Highlighting it as “fear of Islam” in context of when the word developed, a Western imperialist war on Muslims, seems to legitimize it. As if it’s somewhat rational to be afraid of Muslim. The other problem is that “Islamophobia” isn’t actually really a fear of muslims but a hatred of them.

This is what anti-semitism denotes. A hatred of Jews. It’s a much stronger, clearer word.
