Reflecting on general societal lessons after producing preprint on leaving lockdown osf.io/ca5rh/files, attracting media publicity, seen by good journal who enthused, invited (and reminded) to submit promising fast track, 12 weeks later rejected solely as out of scope (1/8)
Preprint at Open Science Foundation and publicity by Science Media Centre ensured results were disseminated widely internationally (218+ media outlets with audience of 160 million), plus multiple TV and radio. OSF and SMC are stars! (2/8)

I blame lockdown but for some reason decided to cook Babylonian meal from the recipe tablet on the right; at 1750 BCE are the oldest recipes existing. Seemed to go down OK "Best Mesopotamian meal I have eaten".
