In what's likely the largest NFT dump ever, in the past 48 hours Machi has sold 1,010 NFTs, including:
- 90 BAYC for 5707 ETH
- 191 MAYC for 3091 ETH
- 112 Azuki for 1644 ETH
- 308 Otherdeed for 582 ETH

But he's not registering much profit for these collections. Why? One big reason is, he's bought back:
- 57 BAYC for 3302 ETH
- 190 MAYC for 2996 ETH
- 11 Azuki for 1640 ETH
- 285 Otherdeed for 541 ETH

... and he's still going, with nearly 7k ETH in the Blur deposit pool

Or, depending on how you look at it, another 11k worth of NFTs to sell

(1/X) Pretty good chance the gigachad @PopcornKirby aka yfimaxi.eth is about to be the recipient of one of the few million-dollar airdrops in history, having nabbed 684,000 $SUDO tokens

Quick look at how they did it... 👇 👇 I took a look at top addresses for $SUDO last night, but the landscape has changed pretty significantly since then -- notably, legendary NFT collector best known as YFIMaxi.eth is now the top individual recipient (other wallets look like team/treasury) ImageImageImage

Do I have this right?

Avi takes out a bigdick CRV loan on Aave and transfers it to CEXes, presumably to drive price lower by selling in gargantuan tranches, then takes the proceeds of the CRV sales back to AAVE to borrow more CRV and loop IF HE’S CLEVER: He’s purposefully going to have his position liquidated, because it will lead to a massive CRV green dildo, as AAVE sells his USDC collateral for CRV using thin on-chain liquidity, driving up the price of CRV massively.

🚨A quick look at Alameda and all the ensuing volatility🚨

Searching for recent contract interactions, Alameda approved a couple tokens but also interacted with Clearpool -- diving deeper, they repaid a milly in outstanding loans and also a $5 milly position on Aurora's Bastion Those kinds of movements are causing chaos for lenders:

On Euler, APY returns for wETH are nearing 66%, and returns for multiple other assets are massive -- almost as if a power user had to suddenly rebalance positions across multiple platforms 🤔

If you haven't gotten a chance, take a peek at Nansen's latest newsletter

Took a look at the top 300 DEX traders on Ethereum, surfacing some truly strange and market-defining wallets

That includes the #1 overall DEX trader, Alameda: Image There's a list of wallets belonging to influencers and trading firms that made the cut (including @KeyboardMonkey3, @cmsholdings, and @wintermute_t), but also some bizarre and spectacularly profitable addys, such as this little guy that made $6 milly in just 21 total transactions Image

Trying to get stronker in the bear/work on my skillset

My strat so far has been attempting to map 2-3 entities per week so I can stalk them during the bull

Just finished gathering/analyzing Parafi wallets, going to walk through my process -- comments/criticism welcome! (2/X)
Parafi has been on my list for a while -- they've been popping up on Top Transactions for multiple tokens I'm following, including Maker and Lido (disclosure: I finally started buying Lido)

I want to get a picture of their holdings and what they're doing with them

This thread kind of buries the lede, if that can be believed Image More details on the $CEL market manipulation allegations. Names Connor Nolan as someone who told Stone directly that they'd pumped the token Image

Man I love Angry Kain

Appears to be accusing an unnamed major CeDeFi lender (probably Celsius) of market manipulation of an unnamed token (probably $SNX)

Is Mashinsky mucking around in Morristown? Let's take a look Celsius is responsible for some of the largest $SNX movements the last two weeks.

Mostly used to shore up their increasingly healthy Aave positions, but earlier today moved 1 milly SNX from Aave to FTX (between an unlabeled address first)

A white knight approaches...

While Celsius and 3AC dominate the headlines and add to enormous sell pressure, some smaller whales and Smart Money are still taking bullish positions

One whale in particular -- a legend from the early days of Bitcoin, no less -- stands out 2/x
I've been keeping my eye on $stETH, and this guy Wang Chun caught my attention first on Wednesday, and then again on Thursday with some big deposits into Aave

I know a little about F2Pool, but had never heard of him

Decided to look closer because he's pushing size around

(1/X) Have spoken with a large number of journalists in the past few days, many of whom are concerned about contagion

They want a full picture of Celsius' holdings, 3AC's holdings, etc

For now I simply point them to what we know on-chain: scary numbers! (1/x) It's remarkable we can see so much of this playing out transparently, with anyone able to audit DeFi platforms themselves

There's a couple analysts on the rise by virtue of calling the play-by-plays -- shouts to @DeFiyst, a soon-to-be superstar

Justin Sun shuffling around a cool $650 million this morning, looks to be withdrawing to real dollars

Been keeping an eye on $USDC movements as it's probably the safest port in the storm

Whole lot of big boys shuffling around and redeeming: Image Sun stands out with (at least) two major moves: withdrawing $500 milly and $150 milly in USDC from Aave from two different wallets (which still have $1.3 billy in them)

Look at the $26 network fee to withdraw from a protocol and transfer half a billy! Take that, Western Union ImageImage

Very excited to announce the launch of a new content series at Nansen: Inside The Mind of an Ape

I view this as crypto's answer to Schwager's legendary Markets Wizards series -- in-depth talks with top traders, with a dash of onchain analytics for color
nsn.ai/3MuOs3e The first in this series is with a quintessential member of the CryptoTwitter canon: @Fiskantes

Fisk talks about his start in poker, losing his shirt in a failed cheese business, making it back in real estate, and finding enduring success in crypto

Legendary moment here: Image

(1/x) It's DUMPOOOOOOR szn, anon

Prices are shit, but unlocks from early-stage investment vesting schedules are making things even worse with major funds dumping millions in already-depressed assets

Let's look at a recent example and analyze how you can protect yourself (2/X) Last week $BETA caught my eye at the top of the Smart Money inflow dashboard

It's a lending marketplace and I'm high on young, experimental lenders -- a vertical where I think there's still innovation to be conjured

Smart Money inflows in a bear make it stand out, too!

Banger piece from my former colleague @realDannyNelson looking at an alleged pump-and-dump scheme from US congressman Madison Cawthorn:

Decided to follow up and take a stroll through the honorable representative's holdings with @nansen_ai
data @realDannyNelson @nansen_ai As Danny reports, the wallet has primarily been used to make a single trade: sell a ton of $LGB (Lets Go Brandon) acquired in a likely OTC deal

Made a tidy 45 ETH in sales, sent to Coinbase in late Dec and late Jan

Rolled to ~$170,000 in USD if he sold when transferred ImageImage

A tale of two NFT flippers:

Two of the most successful on-chain NFT traders are neck-and-neck on the Nansen Profit Leaderboard and started their journeys within months of each other, but one is on the rise while the other fades

Which of these Smart Money wallets will win? (2/X) Blockbird and 167E00 are two of the best NFT traders in the world, sitting at no. 42 and 43 on the Profit Leaderboard having each made over $1.25 million on NFTs

Despite their similar success and the timing of their rise, they display wildly different strategies, however

There's a crisis in confidence in the markets such that apes aren't asking "What should I buy," and instead seem to be working through "What do I believe in?"

Reminds me of the old joke about the dyslexic agnostic amnesiac -- things are a little scatterbrained RN

(1/?) Image An ecosystem embraced by VCs, Terra, died. Now what do we trust?

At first blush it looks like a flight to quality, but the key Q is what even are safe assets?

Smart Money traders are derisking (track them here: nsn.ai/3MQnfIY), but there's larger trends at play

He's planning an NFT drop

The headlines already annoy me and they're months away Threw out some thoughts on biotech stocks

Started out checking in on the $USDT depeg risk, ended up checking in on all of DeFi

TL;DR: $USDT seems fine, but DeFi is starting to look anemic! First, $USDT: No major on-chain swaps from Smart Money in the past 24 hrs, just a lot of traders and MEV folks feasting on the volatility

If there's a big 'insider' flight from Tether, it's not happening out in the open

HOW TO FIND & TRACK FRONT-RUNNERS, a 🧵

Earlier today, itinerant podcaster and part-time gumshoe @cobie uncovered an address that'd successfully frontrun and profited from Coinbase's shitcoin announcement

Here's an easy way anyone can find similar addys

For context, Coinbase listings are generally accompanied by a wave of retail interest in the listed assets

In a possible effort to reduce listing price spikes & associated foul play, Coinbase is now publishing longer lists of assets "under consideration"

A thread on Trident, Sushi's new hybrid model AMM:
cointelegraph.com/news/after-7-2… The core feature is four different pool types -- constant product pools (think Sushi/Uniswap v1), hybrid pools (Curve), concentrated liquidity pools (Uniswap v3), and weighted pools (Balancer). Trades will route through all four via a matching engine, Tines.
