I am sorry that I have not succeeded in my Appeal against Stonewall.

I am grateful to The Hon. Mr Justice Bourne for his reasoned judgment, although I am of course disappointed with the result.

I will consider the judgment with my legal team, but my initial view is that there are five key aspects of the judgment which are of concern.
1/7 Firstly, the judgment gives permission for organisations like Stonewall to procure the withdrawal of employment from people whose protected characteristics they disagree with, if this can be framed as a “protest”. This seems to go directly against the terms of the Equality Act.

1/ According to Ruth Hunt CEO of Stonewall until 2019, “It’s perfectly legitimate for Stonewall to advocate that position [that transwomen are women]. 1/The Employment Tribunal found that Garden Court Chambers discriminated against me because of my gender critical belief when it published a statement that I was under investigation & in upholding Stonewall’s complaint against me.

1/ The furore surrounding the number of women prosecuted for rape in 2012-18 illustrates why we need sex specific data.

In 2011, of the 2,663 people proceeded against for rape of a female in England & Wales, EIGHT of the accused were female.

2/ In 2011, of the 1,058 people convicted of raping a female, FIVE were recorded as female.

These women would have been convicted as co-conspirators or accessories to a male offender.

1/ Over the past few days, I have beens subjected to a vicious & co-ordinated campaign of vile abuse & harrassment by trans rights activists.

They seized on single sentence from my speech: "Girls are having breasts removed that have never known a lover's caress". 2/ In a short while my speech will be released & everyone can judge for themselves whether I was advocating for the molestation of children or for young people to experience sexual intimacy in their bodies before having bits of them amputated.

Disgust at homosexuality hasn't gone away. That's what makes this moment in history far worse than the Section 28 era I grew up in.

2/ It's about sex stereotypes. You cannot explain the concept of 'gender identity' without them. The sudden jump in the number of girls wishing to present as boys correlates with same-sex attraction. The same is true for boys.

1/ The former chief scientific advisor for the Scottish Government and European Commission Prof. Dame Anne Glover has the courage to say what should not require courage to say: sex is binary and cannot be changed. 2/ "proposed reforms that would allow trans women to legally self-declare themselves biological women and trans men to self-declare themselves biological men make no sense from a scientific point of view."

Making a distinction between males & females when considering single-sex provision is necessary & eminently sensible.

Section 7 of the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Reassignment), the protected characteristic, is a reference to a *transsexual person*.

1/ My personal opinion:

Between February 1979 and June 1986, Colin Pitchfork raped and or indecently assaulted (oral rape with screwdriver to head) FOUR schoolgirls, two of whom he murdered. Both murdered schoolgirls were strangled. 2/ The fourth victim was subjected to an unspeakably brutal sexual assault & murder. Her perineum, the area between vagina & anus was split, she was punched in the head. The anal ring was spread with three fissures. The pathologist described a “brutal sexual attack”. She was 15.

1/ Yesterday I posted that gender identity is comparable to the extreme racism of Enoch Powell. I deleted that tweet because I failed to make it clear that I don't suggest that gender identity = racism. I do think the hateful rhetoric & threats are comparable. 2/ I can honestly say that I have never encountered such racist, violent language & threats in my life until now & it's coming from many so called trans activists & gay men.

1/ I love a good speech, even if I disagree with the message. MP @MhairiBlack gave a blisteringly good speech for Pride 2021 yesterday. But that is where my admiration ends.

The finest advocates are capable of using their skill to misrepresent (with passion) the true picture. 2/ It's wrong to reduce the concerns that women, in particular, have about gender identity into left or right politics.

It's wrong & dangerous to insist that everything trans is positive & everything else hateful.

1/ GIDS: The evidence of former GIDS clinician Dr Mathew Bristow, reported in summary in today's Sunday Times is *deeply* shocking.

Homophobia; chid sexual abuse; the suspected grooming of a GIDS patient by a trans woman in the USA; bullying of staff, especially gay staff. 2/ MB - Dr Polly Carmichael's response to concern that GIDS was converting gay children: "I have always said gay staff were too close to the work." DB felt this was intrinsically homophobic.

1/ BREAKING: Explosive testimony on Day 4 of Sonia Appleby's case Employment Tribunal against GIDS.

- Clinician Dr Churcher Clarke gave evidence (witness summoned) that Dr Polly Carmichael, head of GIDS, told her *not* to go to Sonia Appleby with safeguarding concerns. 2/ Dr Churcher Clarke - Sense that the senior Executive team had a sense that following the leaked report by Dr David Bell, which raised safeguarding concerns, people were out to get GIDS.

1/ Apparently the Government will seek to reform crowdfunding & not a moment too soon. It looks like they have the antics of a certain fox worrying QC in their sights. 2/ In the meantime, know that there is huge support for women seeking to protect our sex-based rights. But these crowdfunds need to be planned & credible — not because we’re likely to abuse them, but because sadly we know we will be attacked.

1/ BREAKING: As the LGBTQ+‘s stranglehold on British politics is rightly being weakened, the death rattle of these orgs that have blighted our politics are lashing out wildly & desperately. Mermaids & Others have launched legal action to remove @ALLIANCELGB’s charitable status. 2/ Just let that sink in. During so called Pride month assorted LGBTQ+ orgs, who combined receive millions of taxpayer money have the barefaced cheek to crowdfund to prevent LGB people having a dedicated organisation. Whatever good @GoodLawProject does, this is disgraceful.

1/ Adolescence is defined by the UN & WHO as the period between 10 - 19 yrs. The age of consent is 16 yrs in the UK. Pledging to lower the age of consent to begin at adolescence is therefore a pledge to lower the age of consent to 10 yrs, legalising child sex. 2/ LGBTQ+ orgs that have signed a declaration to lower the age of consent to 10 yrs should face scrutiny. This isn’t homophobic. These orgs are stakeholders with influence across society. If legalising child sex is part of their value system, we need to know & take action.

Children suffering mental health problems need to be identified & supported. Children experiencing gender dysphoria fall into this category. The presumption must be that parents are notified & tasked with helping their child; without condoning abusive parenting or practices. This dilemma is as a result of children being ‘affirmed’ as transgender at school & socially transitioned, all without the knowledge of their parents. What follows will be puberty blockers & a lifetime of medication & surgery.

1/ The problem of introducing hatred of women (misogyny) as a hate crime: Sections 145 and 146 Criminal Justice Act 2003 (in England and Wales) allow criminal courts to increase sentences for aggravation related to disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity. 2/ What matters in the current criminal hate crime legislation (not to be confused with the Equality Act provisions) is the offender’s perception. It follows that if one is 'gay bashed' it doesn't matter whether one is actually gay; the motivation is the offender's perception.
