1/ I want to assure Port Coquitlam residents that our city is in a strong position to weather this storm. Our focus on core municipal services, prudent decision making and rigorous financial scrutiny serves us well during this time. We are reducing all non-essential spending and 2/ placing a hold on external hiring except for critical positions. Our city has never been dependent on unstable revenue sources and we are confident that we have the resources to meet our obligations and continue to deliver the core services we all depend on.

I’m seriously tired of the lack of answers. I’ll be happy to be quiet on this once it is fixed, but @mikeinthevalley @GlobalBC 2/ your asinine comments are why too many in govt have been quiet. The fact you’re more outraged by seeing someone fighting for action than the issue itself tells me enough.
