Delightfully impure RadFem. ADHD nightmare. Writer scum. Gen X 90s reminiscer. Manages to make everything rude. Should always be doing something more important.

We're back from holiday and it was amazing. But something really scary happened at the airport last night: a creepy man targeted us and no-one helped us because of the way he did it. Back story: I overdid the walking and have health issues so I needed a wheelchair in the airport. We were sat near the gate waiting for special assistance and there were various disabled people there plus a man sat nearby. My son asked me what our seat numbers were and the man piped up that he was sat next to us. He then started telling me his life story and asking questions

5-tweet🧵Was talking about this to BF Man earlier: it seems like over the last couple of years, British Gen Xers, who were once on differing ends of the political spectrum, have organically become united in a sort of set of third space beliefs that are neither Left nor Right. 1 Perhaps October 7th was the catalyst, but I can see a whole new political class emerging: gender critical, very focused on child safeguarding and women's rights, pro-LGB but old skool, pro-Israel, anti assisted dying, critical of open immigration while rejecting racism, etc. 2

Your tissues start to atrophy

The Gregg Wallace thing needs to make people look at how women's work is invisibilised by society. GW puts his success down to daily gym sessions, manifesting, journalling, reading etc - meanwhile, this is only possible because his wife and mother-in-law do absolutely EVERYTHING Gregg can only spend hours in the gym and reading, journalling, playing computer games and going to bloody Harvester because he does zero housework, zero childcare, and cooks just one meal a week. He doesn't even seem to see that it's only possible because of what women do unpaid

October is ADHD Awareness Month! And because I don't already mention it enough, I would like to share some info with you. Please read, because a lot of what I have to say might surprise you (and wonder about yourself, maybe). Firstly, ADHD is a neurodevelopmental difference that was first recognised in 1798. It is visible in brain scans as it involves structural difference in the brain, as well as multiple neurotransmitter imbalances. It is a lifelong condition affecting males and females 50-50.
