🧵 I was bullied as a teenager. I am dyslexic and was overweight - seen as an easy target. Older kids thought I was too stupid to succeed, too fat to be taken seriously. I believe women from Northern Ireland should be entitled to the same reproductive rights as women across the rest of the UK and am profoundly disappointed by the court’s verdict today. (1/5) The UK Government are the only ones to have taken tangible steps to make abortion services available in NI. I introduced regulations in March of 2020, setting the legal framework for abortion services in NI. (2/5)
