🧵 Re: the American Communist Party (ACP)
In light of the recent high-profile resignations from two #AmericanCommunistParty Politburo members, I’d like to offer my own thorough critique of the ACP. I’ve kept these reflections privately on the back burner since I resigned, but now is the time to share them.
Today, I will reflect on my time as the North Carolina Chapter Executive of the American Communist Party (ACP). I joined the ACP shortly after its launch in the summer of 2024, and I resigned in December. I am compelled to write this statement for several reasons: 1) The ACP is a rapidly self-cannibalizing organization that, under the present corrupt leadership, will waste the time, energy, and motivation of all its members. 2) The ACP is toxic to the development of the American working masses. 3) My association with the ACP is known online, and I have faced continual harassment from affiliates ever since I left the group, in part because few seem to understand why I left and the countless hours I spent trying to improve the organization to no avail.

As a scientist, I made the decision to not get vaccinated based on 1) Pfizer's early shareholder documents, 2) Pfizer/Moderna/J&J's FDA reports, 3) the CDC's consistently shoddy published research, 4) hearing outright, easily disproven lies from senior gov't science officials. 🧵
The first scientific document I read about the COVID-19 vaccines that were ultimately pumped into Americans was so bad, I began a years-long side quest to learn about these drugs. In that initial document, Pfizer already reported an efficacy of over 90%, which I knew was absurd.

The rate at which Americans accepted and began promulgating the medicalization, denormalization, and derealization of society is so disconcerting. People down uppers, preach therapy like new religion, and invoke doctors like safewords whenever criticism becomes too pointed.
Americans decry the medical establishment & all its -isms... except when it serves our particular purposes. The overwhelming aversion to self-critique & the constant indulgence of anxieties only make us sicker & more reliant on the ones making us sick. And we do it to each other!

Shireen Abu Akleh’s family as well as Congressional leaders have called on the U.S. government to conduct its own independent investigation into the Palestinian-American death.

The U.S. government never investigated the killing of Rachel Corrie in 2003, despite dozens of members of Congress calling for such an investigation at the time. An Israeli soldier drove a bulldozer over Rachel twice during a peaceful demonstration, crushing her to death.

On Friday at 3:48 PM local time, a fire broke out at the 42-storey China Telecom building in Changsha. 36 fire engines & 280 firefighters from 17 stations responded. The fire was extinguished by 5 PM, though rescue efforts are ongoing. No casualties have been reported. –@SCMPNews
