Here's my process for generating killer AI images.

Prompts and references images included.

You'll wanna bookmark this. For most of my designs, I use a mixture of Midjourney and ChatGPT.

Give your logo a "neuroglass" look with this short ChatGPT tutorial. 👀

Reference photos & prompt included below. This will require two prompts to execute perfectly.

First, we'll simply focus on giving our logo a glass look.

Once we nail that, we'll quickly create the elements you see inside the glass material.

Level up your Twitter avatar with a studio-style shot.

Takes just 60 seconds in ChatGPT 4o.

Here's everything you'll need (including the prompt): Let's start with a reference photo to go along with the prompt I'll share in my next tweet.

Prompts are great, but nothing beats a reference photo to go along side it to ensure we match the results we want.

Creating a material version of your logo, in 60 seconds.

Follow the step-by-step tutorial below: Image To start off, you'll need a plain black version of your logo on a solid white background.

Save it as a PNG, and do not remove the background color. Image

You can add this effect to your site in 5 minutes.

I'm about to show you how, so follow along. 👇 Let's start by starting a new file in Spline.

With the default rectangle selected, add:

1. Corner radius: 14
2. Extrusion: 40
3. Bevel: 10
4. Bevel Sides: 10

This will give our glass panel shape and depth.

A big reason Designjoy makes millions 💰:

You can ⏸️ pause subscriptions.

Here's how that works and why it's such a big deal: Most companies do not have a constant flow of design needs at all times.

Design requests pop up sporadically, so subscribing to a $5,000/m service may not make sense.

If you go 2 weeks without a request, that's $2,500 for nothing, right?

Running a $1,500,000/year design agency by yourself is no easy task. I couldn't do it without the right tools.

No more gatekeeping.

Here are the tools that allow me to do this. @figma / @webflow / @stripe

These are obvious, but without them, nothing else matters.

I design essentially everything in Figma, from logos to mobile apps.

I build client websites (and my own) in Webflow.

Stripe handles the subscription payments.

Running a $100k/m one-man design subscription services seems impossible to most. 🤔

Here's how I actually make it work: "Unlimited" agencies get a bad wrap, and it's largely our fault.

You can't expect 100 designs at the same time and expect them all at once.

The "one request at a time" rule prevents this, making it impossible to abuse/exploit the system.

Designjoy has had 727 clients as a design subscription agency. 🤯

That’s millions in revenue.

Here’s how I’d get clients if I were to start all over: Product Hunt.

I say with hesitancy because for most of you, this won’t work out unless you have an:

- audience
- kick-ass landing page
- target an untapped niche

But it’s so easy to do, it would likely be my first stop. You have nothing to lose.

Running a $100,000/m design agency alone has taught me some valuable lessons.

Here's 11 things I've learned over the years: 1. Make your offer irresistible.

I launched my design subscription service at just $449/m.

It was the steal of a lifetime.

Getting clients at that rate required zero effort given my skill level.

It reduced the risk for clients to try something new, and I learned a lot.

Literally everyone in my feed is starting a design subscription service. 👀

You’ve probably seen it too.

Here’s 10 reasons why that’s happening: 🧵 It all starts with MRR.

A subscription service quite literally has recurring revenue built into the core of the business.

Landing a freelance client is great. But once the work is done, they usually move on, and you’re back to square one.

Not so with a subscription service.

I've made millions from my design subscription service.

Thousands of people are building them as we speak.

Here's 7 more things you can sell as a subscription: Content-as-a-subscription:

Focus on landing page copy (headings, body copy, CTAs, micro copy, etc.).

Could also easily include email copy.

Delivered in 48 hours. $3,000/m.

Example: Pagetear (pagetear.com)
