Since it’s #AceWeek I’m gonna make a thread all about my ace magical girl, Galactic Purple!
Marianna Jacobs, aka Galactic Purple, is the leader of #magnifiqueNOIR and uses her baking skills in combat (she throws exploding cupcakes!)

When you first meet her she already has her powers and has been working solo. She prefers it this way at first, but comes to accept the other girls on the team. She often carries the weight of the world on her shoulders and learns the value of self care.
BNHA headcanon where Uraraka decides to tie up some loose ends after graduation. Namely: her feelings for Deku. He agrees to meet her at the front of the UA gates and it’s maximum shoujo romance nostalgia, the perfect backdrop for a love confession.
Until Bakugou shows up.
Bakugou, who has decided to take the next step in his relationship with Deku. They’ve come so far and he’s been hesitant to risk going further in fear of ruining what they have.
But they’ve graduated. They’re gonna become pros. The time is now.
Until Todoroki shows up.

One of the reasons why white folks will never learn is because when some of them decide to take accountability for their actions folks get upset at marginalized groups for it... even if the white person decides to do it on their own with no prompting from us.
They get so many “no we love you don’t listen to the haters” comments and “argh those damn sjws” takes and “boo cancel culture,” but, like, no one told them to take that stand. They weren’t even on the radar. They did it on their own and if you’re really a fan you’d respect that.

Stop using someone’s upbringing as a crutch for their shitty views when they are a whole ass adult person. I don’t care if they grew up “during that time period,” if they came from a town of 6 ppl, it’s in their religion, ect.
I don’t have that kind of time or luxury.
I hate that I’m expected to not only deal with discrimination, but fight against it, educate folks, AND be considerate of your bigoted grandma or foolish pop star or whatever cuz “that’s the upbringing they had.”
