First on scene at a Rape. A Thread.

I Graded call in the early hours from an Uber driver that a victim with serious facial injuries had stopped him on a dual carriageway & told him they had been raped nearby.We’re on 12 hour shifts because of XR protests, & only unit available. We’ve already been to an attempted murder & had just finished bagging up all exhibits when the call comes out. Blue light to scene & see that as stated the victim has serious injuries, luckily an ambulance pulls up a short time later. Brand new colleague stays with the victim.
