The Bronx Zoo is currently caring for a stowaway red fox that was discovered in February aboard a ship arriving at the Port of New York and New Jersey from Southampton, England. (1/5) Image The male, red fox is estimated to be about two years of age and was detected among the ship’s cargo. Once the animal was safely secured by United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), they coordinated with government wildlife officials to bring him to the Bronx Zoo. (2/5)
