New data from the NCAA for the past (COVID impacted) fiscal year. Note how much Power Five schools get from media rights and where they’re spending it. Even if you throw in recruiting, medical and facilities in with scholarships, athletes are generously getting ~39% of the pie in the Power Five. Coaches/admins are getting 42% of the $6.99 billion spent.

— June 1 FB recruiting: summer camps + 1hr on-campus player evaluations + more days in fall for off campus rec Was told schools can also conduct an unlimited number of these player evaluations during the specified dates, which is one reason why you’re seeing kids tweet out a bunch of visits they’re scheduling already way ahead of the dead period officially coming to a close.
