The Apple riots in China are wild on so many levels, which is probably why reporting on it is so thin.

It's... kinda not Apple's fault that any of this is going on.

Nobody had a choice: not Foxconn and not the workers. There's a city in China dubbed "iPhone City" where most of the parts for iPhones are made.

Foxconn runs a bunch of factories there. Workers live on-site.

ZeroCovid protocols have prevented workers from seeing family for weeks on end and ppl are pissed.

I really appreciate all of the kind words, especially from the MAGA and Q people because while I have your attention...

... y'all damn crazy and I wish I could sit y'all down and explain how the world really works.

You got this all wrong and you're hurting people. That's being nice.

You don't like me. You call people like me "communists" and "anarchists".

I am not a communist. I'm little anarchist at times because a little chaos can change the world.

Solidarity is being strong together even if you don't like each other. ✊

My daughter disappeared from our quiet suburban neighborhood in August of 2010.

Three years later, 8 years ago today, in direct defiance of the CHP, FBI, and the State Department I travelled 5,000 miles into Mexico and did what everyone said was impossible.

I brought her home. My Thanksgiving isn't your Thanksgiving.

I only watched RIttenhouse's testimony and that day Binger was absolutely amazing and nuanced.

He was *so* good that I cannot help but wonder as I read various accounts of mistakes he made w/ other witnesses if he didn't throw the case.

It's like two different people. Having facts excluded from evidence and then asking unnecessary questions which allow for those facts to be placed into evidence is just ... confounding.

That's beyond an unforced error, or even a fuckup. It's just stupid. How does that happen if not intentionally?

Brick drops were real in 2020, tho.

During the height of civil unrest, in cities across the country, piles of bricks just laying around in the immediate vicinity of activity were repeatedly documented.

This is not Baader-Meinhof, or frequency illusion.

It stopped happening. The specific images being circulated are contextually false.

The phenomenon was real.

BTC overbought at the top and looks a bit oversold at the moment under 60k.

Even without a parabola, Bitcoin tends to see a price increase during the holidays starting around the week of Thanksgiving until around NYE even in bear years.

Unless bucking trends, '21 is out of ATHs My Tether theory requires a market price of $75k before the end of 1Q2022.

There was a good chance we would have seen it before the year closed but it ain't looking good at the moment.

SEC vs Ripple Labs had a fun twist.

The judge said Hinman can be deposed as a function of the decision making process at the SEC being opaque.

This will 100% backfire on Ripple tho because getting into why XRP isn't like BTC or ETH.. is the case, itself

bloomberg.com/news/articles/… XRP derp lawyer: "Sir, how did you determine that BTC and ETH are not securities?"

Hinman: "Well, we studied the networks and you can mint your own tokens. All XRP on the market comes from a sale from Ripple."

XRP derp lawyer: "..."

So let's have some fun, shall we?

Keep in mind I'm the guy that's been journaling all of this with a narrative that hasn't ever changed.

First: black hole
Second: filled with BTC
Now: the BTC has been used to buy commercial paper with a twist

But what does that mean?

A thread The assets that WERE backing Tether aren't on the balance sheet, so Occam's Razor suggests they were used to buy the assets that are now present.

"Chinese commercial paper" is basically a bond on their over heated real estate market. Commercial paper usually has a 12 mo term.

All the people slamming on this didn't read the article, because once you get right here... you realize this technology has the potential to be therapeutic. The concept of closure is really tough for psychologists.

Nobody will ever tell you what you to hear, or do what you need someone to do, because it's not outside of you.

This is better than talk therapy or drugs, and as its generative it always eventually homes in on the need.

Only the slightest bit of research reveals it's a bank holding the bulk of Evergrande's notes.

They have $32B outstanding.

Even if Tether holds some, it's certainly not all of it. As of a couple of days ago Evergrande is reporting most of the notes as repaid, as well.

Let's see if it drops from here. TA is a mindfuck rn and there's a lot of bullish sentiment which may very well be confirmation bias.

It because it's a coin toss w/ bullish sentiment I'm leaning towards pain.

Don't care what your politics are.

Cuban justice involves holding people without contact or notification to instill fear.

Autocracy sucks, even Marxist flavored.
facebook.com/groups/2430167… I am hard pressed to call a justice system which operates on terror as democratic or even Marxist.

I'm open to opinions to the contrary.

Loooooooooool this is going to fail so spectacularly. Here's an example of how ridiculous this is.

Let's say I'm an evil money launderer and I have Bitcoin through my nefarious criminal enterprises.

I send it to a bridge, trade it for ETH, trade that for WETH, trade that for some shitcoins listed on Coinbase, cash out.

Cleaned.

The biggest issue w/ China news is USDT.

A vast portion, perhaps even a majority, of it is in Chinese hands.

The expected result would be a spike in BTC price, not a drop.

I'd think there are facts not yet in evidence.
cnn.com/2021/06/22/inv… It's also worth noting that China is famous for fucking w/ crypto markets.

Back in the day, Chinese exchanges were straight faking volume but hundreds of millions of dollars per day.

Then the CCP went apeshit and all that volume dried up.

People cried "This is the end!"

Nah.
