As a mutual pointed out earlier, the entire country seemed to stop over the murder of Sarah Everard. Even the then Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to the memorial/protest site. But Rhiannon Whyte? All these rapes and assaults on children? These victims just don't seem to matter
One of many things I can't get my head around is how women and girls don't seem to matter much. It seems to be a consequence of a very liberal, open society that while the state champions their rights in a theoretical sense, it's not interested in protecting them in a real sense
