I am in tears. I went to the wiki entry for female photographers (“Women photographers”) looking for information on the photographer Julia Margaret Cameron (here’s one of her most striking images). I looked through the rest of the page. I went to the “Early Contributors” section to find Margaret. I expected to find a handful of other female photographers in the 19th century.
