Me and COVID-19
Not a love story.
I woke up Saturday at 2AM with a sore throat and dry cough. Got up, took some ibuprofen, back to bed.
Got up Saturday morning with a temp of 101 and bad body aches. Took over the counter meds the rest of the weekend. 1/9
By Monday, I was more concerned as I hadn’t gotten any better, and had some intestinal problems. Messaged my PCP. PCP called me back and had their triage nurse call. We went through my symptoms. Check, check, check. But wait, I haven’t been around anyone who’s positive. 2/9

Here’s a novel idea about aid to ANY 3rd world country.
Don’t cut a check to the government of the country. Use REAL government leaders and persons from the US to set up actual programs for education, violence, health, safe spaces.

Ask people from the communities what their main concerns are. Formulate the funds to be able to expand, and in addition, to be able to pay members of the communities to set up and begin running formidable programs, in the above areas and in gang control and public policing.
