June 13, 2022 through July 12, 2022 the Cardiothorasic Unit was closed because the VISN needed to “develop alternative coverage during [the] Advanced Cardiac Nurse Practitioner” shortage.
A second "pause" or closure began Sept 2022 through Oct 2023.

· the chief of hematology and oncology in July 2022,
· the chief of care management and social work in December 2022,
· the chief of CT surgery in March 2023,
· the deputy chief of anesthesiology in April 2023,
· the deputy chief of mental health in April 2023,
· the deputy chief of surgery in April 2023,
· the chief of physical medicine and rehabilitation in July 2023,
· the chief of anesthesiology in October 2023, and
· the chief of behavioral health in October 2023.

5 calls to Optum about status of evaluations back to VBA

This is Louis Stoel he is 101 yrs old and served in WW2. (born 12/28/1923) Louis is a PH Recipient and awarded a Bronze Star w/Valor. He is escorted to #Normandy by his neighbor/friend Jason. 👇 Louis was cheered at Delta Airlines as he was bording to leave for #Normandy, insisting that he stand to be recognized. @AGIFNVOP This SSVF is contracted with VA to offer Supportive Services Veteran Families and further funding under Shallow Program YET vet is being evicted. Karen Bond (214) 397-7377
Director of Client Services at American GI Forum is making a vet homeless in Dallas TODAY. Call and ASK HER WHY? The veteran fell thru the cracks of their system. No case manager, removed from Shallow Program, then no longer in the program.

Feb 23, 2020 Jerry picked up the prosthetic legs made by the VA Jackson after the first set were reposessd due to VA not funding. Since Feb 2020 Jerry has NOT gotten to the VA Jackson to attend Amputee Clinic ............WHY? This is Jerry when another vet went to visit him Sat June 12, 2021 at VA State Run Nursing Home.

So Gretchen this is the apartment that 1 of our Vets is being evicted from. The property owner has evicted the vet because he will not sign a hold harmless agreement from when the basement stairs came off of the wall and he broke his arm.

Female veteran was evicted from her apartment after her husband (also military) abandoned her & their 3 children.

Sgt w/ almost 8 yrs of service & 3 children were evicted by the Sept 6, 2017.
