Trading can destroy a trader’s life… if not handled correctly.

Here’s why & how ⬇️ Emotional and Psychological Toll
•Obsessive behavior: Watching charts 24/7, skipping meals, losing sleep.
•Depression from loss: One blown account can spiral into deep emotional damage.
•Addiction: Trading becomes gambling when discipline is lost.

Here is how to apply the principle of 2 trades per day risking 0.50% per trade (1% max daily risk) can help you pass prop firm challenges using a $5,000 account with:

• Phase 1 Profit Target: 8% ($400)
• Phase 2 Profit Target: 6% ($300)

Note: This is simply a way which I have traded in 2025 and it has been effective

1 x 4 Figure payout

Controlled Risk Per Day

• Max daily loss: 1% of $5,000 = $50

• Max loss per trade: 0.5% of $5,000 = $25

This prevents emotional overtrading and large drawdowns, keeping your account safe and within prop firm rules (which often have strict daily drawdown limits).

This is a deep and often overlooked reality in the trading world. Many traders remain broke regardless of how profitable they are for several key reasons.

Let me put you through these key reasons 🧵

[ Read. Like. Comment. Repost ] Image 1. Lack of Money Management

Being profitable doesn’t automatically mean financial success. If a trader makes $10,000 in a month but spends $12,000, they’re still broke. No discipline in budgeting, saving, or reinvesting profits will keep them in a loop of poverty.
