This is REALLY long, but I think it’s worth the read.

For those who are TRULY afraid of a Trump presidency, I hope this information will calm your fears or at least give you some things to think about.

Abortion- There is NOTHING a president can do about abortion, on either side. The Supreme Court ruled it is strictly a state issue. That means your state is where you need to concentrate if this is a big issue for you. Also, there is not one state in the union that bans abortion in cases of the mom’s or baby’s health. Not a single one. If the federal government wanted to “codify” a national abortion ban or a federal abortion access law, every states’ congress members and senators would have to vote for it (never gonna happen), the president would have to sign it, and it would have to pass through the courts to get approved. Again, never gonna happen. Why do you think Obama, Biden, and Kamala haven’t done it? Because it’s a state issue.

Most reasonable people can agree that there should be some limits on when an abortion should be allowed based on the age of the baby. The news and activists would have you believe that women may need 2nd or 3rd trimester abortions to save the life of the mother. A baby is considered viable, where it could live outside of the womb, at 20ish weeks or 5ish months. Every single OB/GYN will tell you there is NEVER a requirement to dismember, snip the spinal cord, or inject a baby with poison to burn its veins and stop its heart in order to save the life of the mother. The baby may need to be delivered early and it may or may not live, but there is no need to cause its death. There is no baby blood sacrifice that will magically save the mom. Seriously, look it up.

If you think “a woman and her doctor” should be able to decide to kill the baby at any point after viability, you are not advocating for abortion rights, you are advocating for lawful infanticide. Trump has said, flat out, that he’s pro choice up until the point of viability (a place I think most people agree with). Look it up.

If you say “my body, my choice”, that argument went out the window when you mandated a shot. You can say people had the choice not to get it, they just had to suffer the “consequences” of that choice. Then you need to apply that to abortion. They had the choice to have sex and not use protection, so now they are not free from the consequences that choice. 1/7🧵 Women’s Rights- Most people are referring to abortion when they say that Trump is going to take away women’s right. If that’s your concern, see above. Many of those trying to scare you are also referring to the right for transgender men to compete against women in sports and to be in sex based spaces. Trump has promised to return Title IV to what it was prior to Biden. Title 9 is what says that you can’t discriminate against people because of gender or sexual orientation. Biden added gender identity to that. That’s why men have been permitted to enter women’s restrooms, locker rooms, and sports in places that receive federal funding. I say that is very much anti-woman. If you are trans and you’re saying you’re “afraid” because you can no longer let your dangly bits hang out in women’s spaces, take away women’s awards and scholarships, or overpower women in their sports, then I guess you’re going to have to figure that out. Men who truly feel they’re women and dress like women and look (as best they can) like women have always safely used women’ s restrooms since they weren’t being sexual in there or drawing attention to themselves and that’s fine. The new “trans” use it to satisfy their fetish and get sexual satisfaction in flaunting their man parts and making women feel unsafe and that cannot continue. Women’s safety and comfort is more important than a man’s mental illness or sexual desires, full stop. If you say different, I say you are the one who is a threat to women. Trump will remove the gender identity language to protect women.

The sexual abuser claims only started after he ran for president. That should make you think about why. The grab ‘em by the pussy comment was made to another rich guy when they were talking about what some women will do to get a rich man’s attention. Go listen to it and you’ll be surprised because A- it’s true, women do crazy things to land a rich guy and B- my girlfriends and have said much cruder things when we’re chatting about men and sex and I bet you have, too. 2/7🧵
