Top 10 #GTD Mistakes

I'm a GTD master trainer. Practicing since 2008.

I've coached Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalists, CEOs, CFOs, Lawyers, Movie directors & Priests.

Here are the top mistakes I keep seeing. Plug a hole in a few & you'll see your productivity shine 🌞 1/ Not getting INs to zero

You might be capturing ideas and writing things down.

But are you regularly getting your INs to zero by clarifying them?

If not, then your mind won't trust your GTD system.

Remember clarifying is not doing. It's just getting clear what the work is.

Highlights from the book "Mind Management, Not Time Management" by @kadavy

Today's productivity isn't so much about time-management as it's about mind-management.

See thread 👇 The first false assumption time management makes is it treats time as a commodity.

1/ My notes & highlights from @visualizevalue latest course "The Permissionless Apprentice" by @jackbutcher How do you create value?

You capture value by demonstrating your ability to do something for someone that they didn't know was possible (until you make it abundantly clear by showing them, which is what this workshop is all about).

I often get asked: What is GTD?

The answer is not so simple.

2 years ago I captured a series of insights on what #GTD is really about.

I'm excited😃to share these images that capture the essence of the insights visually @gtdguy @fortelabs
Art @RuhexLabs GTD is not about doing more hard work.
It's about doing the right thing at the right time.

I've taken more than my fair share of online courses, but never seen anything like @jackbutcher's courses.

He's breaking the conventional rules of online courses and creating new ones.

(Thread) Most courses entice you to buy the course by overwhelming you with content and bonuses.

Because of the old mindset "more is better" we end up buying the course but rarely finishing it.

Result: we don't get the transformation we're looking for.

7 Parallels between #Holacracy & #NVC

As a practitioner of both Holacracy & NVC, I was struck by how complementary they are to each other.

@denniswittrock @ranjithajeurkar @imarifv @shammi_nanda @sallymccutchion @morganleggeYUL @EnergizedOrg @holacracyone @h1brian @chrcowan For Holacracy folks, NVC will give a language to process personal tensions.

For NVC folks, Holacracy will provide a self-management practice to build a purpose-driven org.

There's a sense of shared principles between the two, that make them fit well.
