Brisbane United (@BrisbaneUnited) throws its hat in the ring for the #NSD. A really good concept, drawing on history but looking to the future. A real chance for Brisbane's football community to live up to its promise. Very much grassroots-led, it has started off as a joint venture between Brisbane Strikers and Wynnum Wolves, with Virginia United also joining the fold. Exactly 197 days after the Brisbane Strikers announced their association with Cantara Global, the company was deregistered under Section 601AB of the Corporations Act. ImageImage "Beijing Fortune International and Sports Club Culture" was said to have made a "million-dollar investment" in the Strikers.
A Google search for BFISCC on the day of the announcement had one result - the story about the announcement itself. A search today yields a similar result. ImageImage
