Something about REPITITION in #RENAISSANCE reminds me of a 1981 Oscar-winning animated short film "Tango" by Polish artist Zbigniew Rybczyński. The short reflects the artist's experience throughout Poland's political unrest in 1980. (A Thread 🧵🧵🧵🧵🧵): The short uses optical printing (Before digital compositing for non-FilmBros) to add each layer to the single shot. However, what's interesting is how problems compound when people don't stop, and just keep going at the same pace. (2)
