The debate on "the Commission has to release recovery fund money to Poland so it can deal with the massive inflow of Ukranian refugees" is disingenous and misleading. 🧵
There are two different challenges here: first, how to deal with people as they first arrive. This means finding accomodation, food, schools, helping people to bring and use their savings, making it easier for them to prove their identity etc.
