Put pressure on academic institutions to oppose Jew-hatred by exposing toxic anti-Israel climate on their campuses.

We are curious. Was Mohsen Mahdawi’s Uncle Yousef Mahdawi who planned a suicide bombing attack that injured more than 60 people and “fierce resistance fighter” cousin Maysara Masharqa who threw Molotov cocktails at IDF soldiers and made pipe bombs unjustly imprisoned?

What about Mohsen himself? Did he by any chance “fail” to include his connections to terrorist groups when he filled out his immigration papers to became a USA citizen? What about his participation in the Second Intifada and his role as the "coordinator" for Fatah’s Student Movement at Birzeit University? We would bet that he somehow failed to mention this in his immigration interviews and documents.

And then of course, let’s not forget about how Mohsen Mahdawi had behaved while in the USA. Mohsen has been accused of telling people that he likes to kill Jews and has made weapons for Hezbollah. He has been an undergraduate student for 16 years (though not continuously), but Mohsen is supposedly not well off financially, having needed scholarships for Birzeit and Columbia (possibly Lehigh too). His ex-wife is MIA, though she is the reason he earned a green card to remain in the USA. Mohsen was a leader of the revived group @ColumbiaBDS, founder of a Palestinian student union at @columbia, and member of @ColumbiaSJP. These groups single-handedly created a hostile environment for Jews and Israelis on @Columbia’s campus.

Mohsen and all his family are perpetual victims who can do no wrong ever.

@ClaireShipman, good luck if Mohsen is at graduation.

Students associated with @ColumbiaJVP, @ColumbiaBDS and @Columbia_psc have chained themselves to the gates of @Columbia. They are demanding to know the names of the trustees who submitted Mahmoud Khalil’s name to ICE and will not leave until they get answers.

@ClaireShipman, this is your first test. We hope you act swiftly to end this and expel the students responsible for this.

A group of prospective students and their families are getting a real taste of @Columbia, as they walk past the students who have chained themselves to the gates of the school. This is what $90K per year gets you!

How many of these students will want to enroll after seeing this scene that is more indicative of psychiatric patients than students?

This is a very long thread, but please bear with us and share widely. Professsors of @BarnardCollege and @columbia are attempting to distance themselves from the pro-terrorist students of @ColumbiaBDS and @ColumbiaSJP, but these are the same professors who are core sources of the problem.

This tweet thread is directed to: @EdWorkforceCmte, @katrinarmstrong, @preslrosenbury, @BarnardCollege, @columbia, @EliseStefanik, @RitchieTorres, @POTUS and @secrubio

Yesterday, some faculty members, including teammates of the pro-Hamas faculty guard club and signatures of pro-terrorist faculty letters, issued a statement that was published by the @ColumbiaSpec.

In the letter, the faculty members condemned the disruption of professor Avraham Shilon's "History of Modern Israel" class and described the distributed flyers as illustrating “hateful, violent rhetoric and imagery.”

They conclude stating, “we do not mean to discredit the movement at large; we do, emphatically, repudiate actions that impede academic freedom and that propagate antisemitic material.”

The reality is that these faculty members have played active roles in creating the antisemitic environment that empowered the students to disrupt classes and continue to promote antisemitic rhetoric under the guise of “just being antizionist.” The fliers disrupted are no different than the past ones that @ColumbiaBDS and @ColumbiaSJP have distributed in the past, and the class disruption is a small fraction of the daily disruptions Jewish students and faculty face at @Columbia on a daily basis.

Perhaps, in an attempt to cover up their role at the encampment distance themselves from @ColumbiaBDS, the original photo used by the Spectator that displayed Janet Jakobsen, Manijeh Moradian and Alisa Solomon was replaced with a nondescript photo taken by Nina Berman. Note that Jakobsen did not sign this oped.

The faculty members who worked as guards of the pro-terrorist encampment include:
Debbie Becher
Amy Chazkel
Yinon Cohen
Nora Gross
Jack Halberstam
Sarah Haley
Michael Harris
Marianne Hirsch
Jean Howard
Joesph Howley
Rebecca Jordan-Young
David Lurie
Daniel Malinsky
Reinhold Martin

The faculty members who signed this op-ed had nothing to say about these signs from the encampment. Image

1/9 IMPORTANT THREAD 🧵

Who is the secretive individual quietly driving @Columbia’s reputation into the ground?

Who is the single most responsible person for changing rules to enable pro-terror student groups to harass Jewish students whenever they want and continue to hide behind masks?

Who has steadfastly “protected” pro-terror students, making sure they won’t be held accountable?

It’s not someone you probably know. She’s been careful to avoid the spotlight.

This person is Jeanine D’Armiento @j34bsrisbd6f, power-hungry chair of the University Senate.

2/9 Over 200 Columbia faculty, staff and students petitioned for Jeanine D'Armiento not to be allowed a power-grabbing 4th term. The petition documented how incredibly biased she is in ignoring antisemitic harassment and discrimination on campus.

In her crumbling attempts to stay in power and evade accountability, Jeanine D’Armiento attempted to denounce the petition’s claims… so she lied, misled, conveniently changed her story, invented new powers for herself, and when all else failed, claimed she was “just following orders.”

It’s shocking! And it’s much worse than you could imagine.

See for yourself!

Read this deck (drive.google.com/file/d/1fm2mRX…) rebutting every assertion made by professor Susan Witte of the Structure and Operations Committee that tried to show Jeanine was unbiased and see (youtu.be/OEIvQmao2ng?si…) the relevant part of the Columbia Senate plenary session of November 22, 2024.

Every assertion was an obvious lie!

Columbia deserves better than leaders like Jeanine D’Armiento!Image

1/7 Anthony Zenkus (@anthonyzenkus), who calls himself a "professor" but is really just an untenured senior lecturer at @Columbia's @ColumbiaSSW, has been spewing lie after lie about Israel on campus, in class, and on social media.

Here is his latest fake: Image 2/7 The latest set of lies earned his post a correction note regarding the missing context. Image
