When you come to the emergency department and the nurse does the first assessment of you, you go on our tracking board. I can see at a glance the reason you’re there, your vital signs, and any labs/imaging that’s been started.

If you’re waiting it’s because we have assessed… That it’s safe for you to wait. For now.

But we can only make those decisions based on information we have. If your condition changes, we need to know so we can see you sooner if needed. The triage nurse will come get me if someone deteriorates.

Had an encounter at the pharmacy recently & want to repost my homeopathy tweetorial.

You may have seen stuff like this at the pharmacy in the cold & flu aisle. It looks gentle, benign, but medicinal.

It is utter quackery and you’re wasting your money.

People often think homeopathy is just plant-based (botanical) medicine.

Plants do have many therapeutic (& toxic) compounds; there is actual science that develops drugs from them. Homeopathy is not that.
