The government wants to draw up a new strategy for Violence against Women and Girls. It is asking people with lived experience to respond to a survey to inform this work.
Here are some basic demands that would make a radical difference, which we desperately need to see. Pre-trial education on rape myths to be mandatory for all jurors in every rape and sexual assault case.
Rape myths are pernicious and dangerous. They lead to victim blaming and prevent women reporting rape. They excuse sexual aggression and influence the outcome of trials as well

OK so my tweet yesterday seems to have caused a bit of a stir. Here is some clarification.

The four examples I used were shorthand for four of our key industries, that are kept going by hard working people, many of whom come from EU and elsewhere.

We are nearly at full employment (the gov was crowing just this week about low unemployment figures) and we have an ageing population.
