I was the Georgia Senate Budget Director during the Great Recession, and I helped get our economy back on track. Georgians wanted leaders who cared about getting us through this crisis.

Today marks 50 days until Election Day. Our grassroots team has been talking to voters on a level never before seen in #GA07 and, as we enter the home stretch of this campaign, I wanted to share some of our accomplishments: I'm proud that my campaign is powered by a diverse group of young people who are leading the important work of connecting with our communities and neighbors. Since May, our team has been joined by over 100 interns.

My opponent @RichforGA has spread misinformation about COVID-19 so many times that it’s hard to keep up. Here’s a timeline of some of his worst offenses to help you keep track: On February 27th, @RichforGA said that the seasonal flu is worse than COVID-19 and that Georgians had no need to worry, as there were zero confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state. GA now has 150,000+ cases. Gwinnett has the most in GA.

I know many of us are once again grief stricken by seeing horrifying violence against another black American. Only a few weeks ago we grieved for Ahmaud Arbery who went for a jog in his neighborhood and was killed; we grieved for Breonna Taylor ... who was killed in her own home; now this time we grieve for George Floyd who had the life choked out of him by a police officer kneeling on his neck.
