I've never watched the Amazon Prime JACK RYAN show and never had any interest to, but I saw this clip today of the character played by John Krasinski and thought I'd share it b/c it does exactly what I speak about regarding Hollywood being a propaganda apparatus of US imperalism. In this scene, Jack is speaking to a group of operatives in training(?), and he references the usual countries as being enemies of US might: Russia and China, but what makes it interesting to me is that he also mentions Venezuela and says that it's also a potential nuclear threat

Not only does Netflix not platform older films, because WB has been erasing their own projects to avoid paying residuals, there's going to be a negative financial ripple effect to actors and production crews with this acquisition b/c Netflix doesn't pay residuals either. Hold onto your physical media people, be it DVDs, vinyl, BluRays, VHS and cassette tapes (yes, which I still have some and even a VHS player), keep them. And, if you don't have any, support your local library and borrow titles to keep them in circulation. Also, 🏴‍☠️if you have to.

Do y'all understand that when billionaires and millionaires create "charitable foundations," it's not out of the goodness of their hearts? It's an economic strategy. They get tax write-offs, and money funneled back to them through contract companies they own/have shares in. Defending a neocolonialist enterprise that's wrecked the environment across the Caribbean owned by a family of colonizers who've made sure to keep their bloodline white and pure in an Island with a majority Black population, and pays Black employees poverty wages, is foolishness.

I saw this on IG and terror on this woman's face when she realizes she's being kidnapped as her 12yr-old daughter is left behind...her screams...this is domestic terrorism.

She was a Chilean tourist in New York. America can't host any international event. Visitors are not safe . This is fascism and authoritarianism. America is a fascist state, has been for a while but they've stopped pretending that it isn't.
Around 3 years ago national guard soldiers patrolled New York city subways for days with no push back from the population. That was a test run.

China is in fact, ruled by a repressive regime. Freedom of Speech and expression comes with limitations; ask a Hongkonger, a member of the Ughyur community, or someone who isn't from more affluent cities like Beijing and Shanghai like most of the users of THE LITTLE RED BOOK are! Americans are giddy at being told the truth of what they already know about their own living situation by Chinese people because they saw Chinese people as being backward,ignorant, and uncultured, and are happy to use government propaganda for their own lack of incuriosity.

Always pay attention to how the ulra wealthy move because it's always a red flag when they start liquidating assests For the last 3 years, I've apoken of the importance of paying attention to how the most wealthy people, not just politicians, move.
They're privy to pertinent information long before us regular folk, and when we're allowed to know, it's too late for us.

Using mental health issues as an exuce for his blatant bigotry, sexual assault and fantasies of committing sexual assault of Black women, is nasty work.
Doing this stigmatizes people with mental health issues and deligitamises the harm done then and caused now. Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Lee Sung Jin, Netflix and A24 have all stayed silent until now, and rather than admitting that they've created an untenable situation by placing a self-admitred rapist in proximity to women who may have had no idea, is beyond gross, selfish and myopic.
