It’s #PenguinAwarenessDay!
Be aware that young King Penguins look like this! Juvenile King Penguin at Fortuna Bay, South Georgia. Juveniles are covered in a fluffy coat of brown downy feathers, making them look like they are wearing a big fur coat! Then they look like this!
#PenguinAwarenessDay Juvenile King Penguin, in a group of adults. The juvenile has adult plumage, except for a band of furry-looking brown baby feathers across its backside and on its head. It is looking very sorry for itself!
