Historical moments for the implementation of the DSA. The DSA Transparency Database is up, and is a game changer for content moderation. A few thoughts on what we can learn from the database architecture and how we can further study it. Platforms that moderate content need to be transparent about their moderation decisions. This is an obligation not simply owed to users, but also to the Commission. The Commission is publishing anonymized ‘Statement of reasons’ in the DSA Transparency Database. Image

The French influencer policy reform has become positive law as of today's adoption. It's has many interesting aspects that complement current consumer protection regulation, as well as many not so great additions that can be criticized. A quick 🧵
