"It's frustrating to see the times use their platform to promote the mis-informed opinions of someone who didn't even bother to google it. There is a huge amount of data on these projects, 2/ "& it is important to remember that the primary motivation is usually safety, but often times even mean that traffic moves FASTER. The author of the letter likely only remembers the worst days after the project, but doesn't remember the many traffic jams they sat in beforehand
