Why does @PierrePoilievre @cpc_hq lead the torches & pitchforks mob, shrieking about China’s interference in Canada, while silent on, and denying any investigation into, US and Russian interference which likely exceeds anything China’s doing? So much kefuffle around China and it’s alleged election interference, compromised democracy and PM Trudeau’s supposed insouciant attitude or, worse, his and his government’s compliance. The rebel core wasn’t evident at first as it cloaked itself in anti-mandate messages /1 Obviously there was intelligence gathering by authorities prior to the mobilization and occupation but, just as politics interfered w proper application of police and National Guard on Jan6th, some municipalities failed to acknowledge the breadth, depth and weight of the /2
