Chris Christie is leading a campaign to ban American Prediction Markets in states across the country. We’re simply not going to allow that to happen. Prediction markets are not new; we’ve regulated prediction markets since 1992. These markets allowed for political predictions, predictions on corporate earnings, and now sports. What we’re seeing now is huge uptick in demand by Americans to predict the future.

I have some big news to announce… American prediction markets aren’t new. They have been regulated by the @CFTC for more than two decades and serve legitimate economic purposes. These markets have changed the way people consume news, monitor events, engage in politics, and can be more accurate than competing products.
