WAR OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS, the biggest and baddest Star Wars comics crossover of the modern Marvel era... begins in May.
What is it? Pretty simple:
Boba Fett vs... everyone.
Here’s the launch interview, and some additional thoughts in the thread!

WAR OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS runs from May to October, kicking off with an issue from me and my longtime friend and collaborator Steve McNiven. (We did Death/Return of Wolverine together, Uncanny Inhumans etc.) He’s INCREDIBLE, and I think this is his best work in ages. I mean...

Don’t ignore your mental health. We all carry around a backpack full of stones; these days it’s more rocks than pebbles.
The weight’s so familiar that you don’t realize how heavy it’s getting, until one day you’re on your knees.
Think about ways to lighten the load.
I’ve been trying a lot of things to help reduce the weight of my mental rucksack, and I think it’s not about one strategy but many. All hands on deck. Full court press. I thought I’d share a few things Ive been doing that have seemed to help.

@MarinaLostetter (Wow, I have to end this thing? All right. <deep breath>)
@MarinaLostetter “One: You solve for the X of your existence. You bring yourself into balance like a perfectly-built equation, and thereby save yourself and the world.
Two: You don’t, and you get thrown in the hoosegow.”

Speaking of national emergencies, there’s a famous Supreme Court case, Youngstown v. Sawyer. Bet we’ll be hearing about it in days to come.
The case revolved around a President (Truman) who justified an extreme act via a claim of a national emergency.
“Nuh-uh,” said the Court.
Truman grabbed a bunch of privately-owned steel mills to prevent a strike (more or less.) He justified this by saying there was a national emergency on because of the Korean War, and we needed our steel production to continue uninterrupted.

Even your favorite President, the best, coolest one, can’t override the Constitution with an executive amendment. That’s how the Constitution is built, how the Supreme Court has ruled (in Youngstown v. Sawyer etc), and how America was designed from the start.
I’ve been thinking about executive orders, Constitutional amendments, Presidential power and how they interrelate this morning. Bottom line: the Constitution is the highest legal authority in the US, and all three branches of government are bound to its rules.

I've been seeing nonsense about only "legal citizens" being eligible for due process under US law. Wrong. From the 14th Amendment: "nor shall any State deprive ANY PERSON of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law." (Emphasis mine.)
Here's the Fifth Amendment: "No PERSON shall ... be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law." (Again, emphasis mine.)

If they will do this to children, on the flimsiest excuse, they will do it to anyone.
Including, on the flimsiest excuse, you.
A fellow in my TL asked why I didn’t speak up while child separations were happening for eight years in the Obama administration. Answer (as an immigration attorney of over fifteen years) - they weren’t.
