Rotherham grooming gangs: Nuance & reality check: Of course there should be further inquiry - initial findings were ethnicity was not factored in investigation but the reasons left uninvestigated. We need to hold a mirror to fear of being seen as racist blocking safeguarding.1/4 If a crime is committed by a gang of all one ethnicity and the crime could be influenced by culture then to ignore ethnicity is negligence. If a crime has no potential cultural influence, no pattern of ethnicity, then to highlight it is racist. 2/4

Extremism = real or perceived grievance + reductionist causal narrative + the state is incapable = take extreme action. It is the narrative and the action that makes it extremist not the often real concerns. 1/4 Example: There is a war in Gaza + Islam is under attack + we are the only ones who can save it = the global ummah must rise. The grievance is real the narrative is reductionist and dangerous as is the action. 2/4

This morning the Sikh Kapoor family woke up to their cars covered in red paint. The family went into hiding last year after they spoke up against Khalistani extremism. Despite almost daily rape and death threats the decision was made to remove their panic alarms.1/4 Image Within days of the removal of the alarm their property is targeted. They have so little trust now in policing and government they feel that the Khalistani extremists have a way of knowing their alarm system has been removed. Why? 2/4

Fascinating results in Leicester. LE5 -Belgrave, the area most effected by the attacks on Hindu homes and vehicles, has swung from Labour to Conservative. Communities there felt let down by Labour, the city mayor and the media in how they ignored the calculated attack on innocent Hindu families in their homes. Families that were not involved in the Muslim/ Hindu youth violence earlier in the year or the marching.

A harrowing weekend working with the Sikh family in hiding, under threat of rape and death. They feel so unsafe in Britain and want to seek asylum out of the country. This is not the first time a threatened religious group has told me this. @SuellaBraverman @JamesCleverly Masked gangs driving by their business making gun hand gestures, licking photos of their daughters and making rape threats, where is the police?

What is the Khalistan referendum?
independent.co.uk/asia/india/can…
A diasporic seperarist movement for an independent Sikh country. Accused of being set up and funded by Pakistan. It is widely believed that the most deadly terror attack in Canada, the bombing of Air India flight in 1985 killing 329 was a Khalistani terror attack.

When you read this kind of work it is hard to take it seriously so you think to dismiss. This is a mistake. It is tiresome. Boring. But in the world of fake news if you do not rebut the lie it becomes truth. Here are my fave ludicrous moments:

thequint.com/voices/opinion… Muslim influencers - 'Littlewood discusses... positions taken by the influencers, such as being influenced by the D-gang, much of it irrelevant in the present context.' How is the march organisers' link to a global crime syndicate and suspected terrorist irrelevant??
