I didn't expect Deion to stay at Jackson State forever, however I think he could have prepared the community a bit more for this move. Its something that 99% of people in his position would have done. The sad part about it is it makes too many believe that HBCUs are just a stepping stone to get white corporate jobs rather than a cornerstone of the Black community.

This is a list of what Hoteps are right about and why we should listen to them more often. Believe it or not Hotep leadership would make the Black community a better place. Image 80% of Black people in America are christian. The first school of christian theology was in the city of Alexandria in ancient Kemet. These early christian scholars used Kemetic philosophy to articulate their theology.

The trans Atlantic Slave trade was controlled from top to bottom by European powers. Racists will have you believe that a tiny percentage of collaborators in Afrika are more responsible than these international colonial empires. If culpability is equal on both sides why did the enslavement process make Afrikan nations weaker while strengthening European colonies?

Where were the ship industries in Afrika that could transport thousands of war captives across the ocean?

The analysis of Black slang in America shows us that our ancestors were Afrikans that maintained the communication styles of their original languages, while adopting the vocab of the plantation owners during the enslavement process. Historically speaking there has always been the racist assumption that ebonics also called Afrikan American English reflects the inability of Black people to understand English. Racists refused to consider the possibility of Afrikans preserving their languages.

Most folks on this app who talk about CARICOM don't even know what it is or what it does. They think CARICOM is the Caribbean equivalent of ADOS/FBA which just shows how horrifically disinformed they are. CARICOM is an institution that is centered around economic integration, policy coordination, security and development. The central objectives of CARICOM are not and have never been about reparations. The Dems need the Black vote to win. The GOP doesn't.

The GOP can push white nationalist politics openly without having to worry about the consequences.

The Dems can't.

Yet the majority of FBAers that I speak to prefer the GOP over the Dems.

Very interesting. Promoting not voting as a strategy to get politicians to listen to our demands doesn't seem smart as our population numbers are dwindling.

We used to be the #2 ethnic group. Now we are number #3 and may fall to #4 in the next decade.

The Black standard of beauty is real and it has little to do with eurocentrism and or colorism/featurism/texturism.

While white men prefer the european body type, Black men typically prefer the Afrikan body type. I break down the metrics of the Black Beauty Standard here:

Examining Black Music in America is one of the easiest ways to show that our ancestors came from Afrika. Their music traditions survived the Middle Passage and were refined in the South. Along the process there were numerous contributions from other regions of the diaspora. Before we begin it is important to understand the nature of the inter colonial trade in the Americas as well as the immigration of free Black people to the United States. Nemata Blyden discusses these contributions to the ethno genesis of Afrikan Americans.
