After live-blogging the 2-day meeting, Dr. @NassMeryl found it to be “disheartening” overall.

For example, after 3 other pneumococcal vaccines came on the market, @Merck’s version became unpopular. So now they plan to create a new one just so it’ll be the hot new recommended shot.
