5 Lessons for the Revolution (a thread)

1) Your voice matters more than you think! Today demonstrated how powerful one person's voice & action can be. The regime was shaken to its core by acts of courage by citizens, hence the arrests. Never underestimate the power you hold! 2) A revolution is not a one day event. Today we planted the seed, now we grow it. Some may think we achieved nothing today. On the contrary, we achieved more than a gathering of 10,000 people in one place. Why?A thousand small fires will burn the forest faster than 1 big blaze!

#Remembering2008
In the June 2008 election, we did the unthinkable. We turned Chivi red. It is a well known fact that I defeated Paul Mangwana and that Morgan Tsvangirayi scored more votes than Mugabe in Chivi Central Constituency. Of course they rigged (1/7) ZANU PF declared war on Chivi Central. In the month of June alone, I personally rescued, took care of &supported over 40 of our supporters & councillors who were assaulted, maimed & tortured by the regime. My home in Masvingo had become a refuge & hospital #Remembering2008 (2/7)
