@Beteljuice @FTC This is the exact same problem though, most of this is just statements about what is apparently being done, from the same guy no doubt, but there is a lack of actual controlled evidence that the Vit C is what is contributing to improvement. @Beteljuice @FTC It omits the recent sepsis trials which do not show benefit. Moreover, this author makes claims of success but continues over and over again to not present actual data/evidence for this — it is getting frustrating.

In breast cancer, HER2 expression can stimulate glucose uptake (and NADPH production via pentose phosphate pathway & fatty acid oxidation)...which gives more weight to @drg1985 quote, that ⬆️glycolysis is a "consequence of cancer rather than the cause"
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21508971 Seems like the Warburg effect by itself and a cancer cells use of glucose is insufficient to promote and explain cell replication? Indeed, "the multifaceted roles of oncogenes in metabolism are context-dependent"

📢 Why Eating Peanuts Doesn't Defy Thermodynamics & Calories STILL Matter!

A Thread & Response. Chewing - Does affects energy expenditure & slower chewing speeds could increase energy expenditure. Eating is also simulated by chewing gum in studies which expends energy (more accurately measured via indirect calorimetry.)
