The architect of many of these cuts was Kelvin Goertzen. After slashing healthcare, he moved on to ed and tried doing the same with Bill 64. He said that he isn’t sure if the state should be paying for such services. (2/15)

Are you feeling exhausted by MB politics? Numb to the news of one story after another, one horrible bill after another? This is part of the PC strategy, a neoconservative movement that Naomi Klein called “The Shock Doctrine.” We are in the midst of disaster capitalism. 🧵(1/8) What is “Shock Doctrine”? It is using a crisis to grab power. For example, Bush did it during the Iraq War with the Patriot act.
