My friend’s 88 year old uncle's San Jose Jewelry Store was robbed on Fri 9/5 at 2pm. They ran a truck through the store and then pushed him down. He was injured by broken glass and then had a stroke. @MattMahanSJ you’ve done a lot for SJ but still more criminals to be locked up. ---

Kim Hung Jewelry is a family-run business and a pillar of the local community. Its targeting is not just an attack on property—it’s an assault on our shared sense of safety, dignity, and trust.

Quote from Mayor Carmen Montano (Milpitas) and Candidate for State Senate, District 10:
“This attack was not just on a store—it was on the dignity of our elders, the safety of our neighborhoods, and the soul of our community. We will not stand by while violence and fear take root. I join my fellow leaders in demanding swift justice and real solutions.”
