I agree the PJM MOPR needs to be replaced or significantly modified. It is unsustainable given the political realities of a region consisting of 13 sovereign states and DC, a region in which states' policies have diverged greatly since the capacity market began. 2/4

Fifty years ago today (also a Sunday), the Pirates beat the Orioles in Game 7 to win the 1971 World Series. For Pirate fans suffering through the past decades of no championships, it is a day to remember and celebrate. 1/7
It was the only game won by the visitors. Leading by just 1 run going into the home 9th, Steve Blass retired the heart of the O’s batting order to complete a magnificent complete game, his second of the Series. As Bob Prince often said, “We had ’em ALL the way!” 2/7
