it’s MNInteresting to learn First Ave hired a new general manager, Steven Sawyer, a MAGA Tr*mp supporter w a habit of posting racist takes online. He’s the former Director of Events & Hospitality at Target Center. I worry of the impact this will have on staff & patron safety.

Steven Sawyer’s LinkedIn profile
Retweets by Steven stating: Unpopular opinion: people who commit crimes should be arrested for those crimes I don't know who needs to hear this but if you stop breaking the law and resisting arrest, you won't have problems with the police
Steven Sawyer reposting Bill Maher during Covid saying he is “spot on” during a time of increased anti-Asian hate. Mahers tweet reads: China is a dictatorship that, for decades, enforced a one child per family policy under penalty of forced sterilization. But they can't close down the farmer's market from hell? #CoronaVirus #WetMarkets
Steven Sawyer retweets a post that states “This is really good. @billmaher defends western civilization, which is the single greatest thing to ever happen to humanity. Watch it” and links to a bill Maher video
