Residents along the #BQX line have come up with $1M+ reasons why a streetcar would be more expensive than improving existing transit options: eg. dedicated bus lanes, increase frequency of existing bus and subway services, adding more cars to the G... How extremely frustrating it must be for those residents if the City disregards their concerns and presses full steam ahead with a plan to increase those residents’ property taxes to fund a project everybody knows is more expensive than improving existing options.
