Judge Andy Brown says today's ice storm made roads incredibly dangerous, so please stay home if possible. .@austinenergy : we are starting to get more power and are prioritizing turning on the power for people who have been without power the longest. if we can sustain this level, we can do true rotating blackouts

It starts at 3:30 @ERCOT_ISO @ERCOT_ISO : the amount of time people have been without power is terrible and unacceptable. We are trying to keep the grid reliable by balancing the supply and demand

I'm am on a call with ERCOT right now who is giving an update on the power outages in Texas.

Protesters stand on 35 in front of PD truck. They are blocking traffic on both side of the highway Go to KUT FB i just did a live for a while about what’s going on the highway. Cops just came up the frontage road with horses to move people. They threw tear gas at us and I watched a horse put its legs on a woman on the ground

I’m caffeinated and I’m at @MaplewoodATX for the community meeting. Maplewood is slated for closure, and students would attend either nearby Campbell Elementary or Blackshear Elementary. Everyone in the circle is introducing themselves. Lots and lots of parents here today and people who live in the neighborhood.
