Thanks, @baltimoresun for the coverage! However, there are a few errors in your presentation. First, it's not the city that *has* to deal with over 700,000 tons of trash. Once Wheelabrator goes away, some 250K of that no longer gets trucked into the city. baltimoresun.com/news/opinion/e…
Next, the organization's name is Energy Justice Network, not "Energy For Justice." Third, at least 75% of what we dispose of recyclable or compostable, but that is not mentioned. Fourth, replacement facilities are CHEAPER than any retrofits Wheelabrator would do comply.
