The demolitions and forced evictions taking place along the Gujjar Nala in Karachi are a textbook example of climate injustice. Here's how: 🧵 On August 27 last year, Karachi saw record-breaking rainfall which led to unprecedented urban flooding and a near-collapse of its infrastructure.

Among the communities most affected were the residents of Gujjar Nala, many of whom saw their entire homes go under water.
