Excited to be able to share this comprehensive review on the many ways that climate change is increasing bushfire risk in southeast Australia, just published in @CommsEarth.

I’ll tweet a summary of the new work once the embargo lifts, but first here is a thread about the backstory: The backstory began for me on Christmas Eve of 2019, when I was approached by @sciam to write an opinion piece on the link between climate change and the bushfires that had been ravaging Australia for months.
