@cullenroche @Dan_Denis The consolidation step just tracks net financial positions between sectors. It's a macro lens, not a dismissal of household wealth. Household net worth and inter-sector balances answer different questions. @cullenroche @Dan_Denis Valuation gains change distribution within the private sector; deficits change net claims across sectors. Both perspectives can be useful without being contradictory.
